Well made, good mounting device

"My old lock came with a mounting thing that never tightened properly, rattled and eventually fell apart. When the lock fell off half of the cover cracked...
This Kryptonite lock cost about the same, and there is no play at all in the supplied mounting kit. The lock also seems well made, with attention to the details e.g. there are little rubber pads to stop the U rattling in the lock bar. It weighs about the same as my old lock, so fine for a commuter bike."

"The U-lock is quite small, but big enough to lock the frame and wheel to something solid. The cable is not so long, but enough to also attach to the front wheel or to something solid if the U-lock wont fit. Overall a great little set which has kept my bike safe in the dangerous cities of Switzerland!"

"Since upgrading my bike I was worroed about the previous locks. They never felt overly secure, a decent criminal (is there such a thing?) could have easily got through them.
Almost a year in I still have the bike and feel safe every time I leave the pride and joy outside.
I leave the lock at work, wouldn't really want to carry it round."

Good quality for the price

"Simply put, this lock is very good quality for the price. The cable that comes with the shackle is very useful to secure your front wheel. The bike mount was also a reason why I bought it because I don't like carrying locks in my hand.
The only slightly annoying thing is that there's a bit of wiggle room when the shackle is locked so when you bike with it fixed on the mount, there's a bit of noise if you're on a bumpy road. No big deal though.
Wiggle, as usual, was fast at delivering (within UK). Top service."

"La herradura parece fuerte y no es demasiado pesada. Además es muy cómoda de transportar gracias al soporte que incluye y que se instala muy fácilmente.
El tamaño se queda un poco justo para coger la rueda trasera y el cuadro, al menos en mi bicicleta.
Pero eso y la rigidez del antirrobo se compensa con el añadido del cable de regalo. Si el elemento al que vas a candar la bici es demasiado grueso lo coges con el cable y atas la otra rueda con la U."

"People say this is a heavy lock but its much lighter than similar one's Ive had in the past. Sure its not super lightweight, but a lock like this never will be, but really its not all that heavy. Locks nicely, with smooth key action, and nice slidey around cover to protect lock from elements. Glad I purchased it!"

"Excellent lock, feels very solid and big enough to lock my bike to even awkward objects, something my other D lock let me down on. I did struggle a bit with the bracket that fits it to the bike so I gave up and just carry it. It's not that heavy."

"Lock seems good, but as far as I'm aware no one has yet tried to break it. As with all u locks it is heavy but I leave mine at one location. I like it has a rotating plastic cover for the key hole. You have to make sure the key is inserted totally else when resembling the lock will not go together. The cable is just long enough to go to the front wheel and back."

The extra cable means I can secure both my wheels. Great for everyone with quick release wheels.

"Appears to be solidly built. Bracket a bit rubbish (and lock wouldn't fit anywhere on the frame in any case), but other than that not much to say. Bike's not been stolen yet (unlike the last one that prompted this purchase), so that's a plus!"
