Great pair of socks for any activity
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I bought a pair of these socks 2 years ago and wore them countless times - not only for biking. They are quite comfy, easy to care and durable. Despite finding their way into the dryer a couple of times they re stil in shape. In comparison to a pair of Endura baa baa socks which I purchased a year later they are almost as good as new."

Cosy Toes
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"I have trouble keeping my feet warm and was recommended these. They are very snug and fur lined so feel lovely when you put them on but unfortunately still not enough for my cold toes. I've had a pair of these, sealskins and winter overshoes all at once and my poor wee toes were still numb on my return. Realise however this is perhaps more a reflection on my poor circulation rather than the socks. They are a treat to put on though and would recommend to a friend."

Best socks ever
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"I have big feet for a woman and often need to go into mens sizes but even the small fit my big size 8s. I wouldn't normally pay so much just for a pair of socks but I have trouble regulating my body temperature and have poor circulation so my feet are often like lumps of ice even in socks and slippers so I thought I'd give them a try. I couldn't believe the difference with these socks. Warm, comfortable and they have cute sheep on them :)
These socks aren't too bulky for my trainers if I want to go for a light walk and are still comfortable in my more roomy hiking boots. Love em :)

nice socks
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"This is my first proper winter and I get cold!. I could definitely feel that my feet were warmer, but when it got below around 10 degrees I needed more. I think for autumn they are great on their own without overshoes etc."

the best socks
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: Bulky
"I have had a number of pairs of these socks and they are fantastic. They are warm, hard wearing, don't smell, comfrotable and breathable. The new versions are even more comfy. The only possible down side is that they may be a little bulky in close fitting summer shoes. I use them for hiking and everyday use as well as cycling and I have had years of regular use out of them. Money well spent"

Excellent socks
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Lightweight, merino : it doesn't smell
"I used to be a fan of the Assos Winter Plus (full merino wool socks), but these are no more produced this year.
So I gave these Defeet a try and I am not looking back at my assos.
They come cheap, in a variety of length (I rather like them high) and the sheep is cute as well.
Very impressed by that product.
Oh and as charcoal is very versatile, you can wear them with your daily shoes."

the only drawback my wife keeps nicking them,( not a problem if you and your spouse's feet are miles apart in size.)

"As these are a nice versatile sock.
One can use it ALL year round.
i only buy Defeet socks, and when they have seen their better days 'go out the door', they get down graded to being used around the house on my feet.

Socks!
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I really rate merino for socks (I'm not a fan of the material for tops and underwear I find it absorbs sweat and then holds it next to your skin!) and these are no different. Warm when wet, cool in the warm and none of the hot foot feeling I sometimes get on a very hot day with man made fibres.
Defeet manufacturing is top class and the sock wash and wear very well."

Quality product
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"I'm a big fan of DeFeet gear, which is good quality and reasonably priced, so I was looking forward to trying these socks. I've only worn them a limited amount so far, but my comments so far would be that these are high quality and seem very robust. They might be a bit thick for some, and I think the sizing is slightly on the small size (I got the right size for my size 11 feet, but I'd be tempted to go up a size next time as they are on the verge of being too tight. But the quality is really good, and as they're not too "bikey" looking they could easily be used as general purpose socks."

Wooly socks? Are you nuts, man? YES I AM!
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Good Fit
"What can I say? Socks are just socks, right? But wooly cycling socks? That seems to go against the grain, as I've always believed that a good cycling sock has lots of meshy fabric that breathes easily and allows water and sweat to quickly escape.
But, I read all the review on these socks and decided to try out something new. And boy am I glad that I did.
I cycle 16 miles each way on my daily commute, and these are the first cosks that I've worn that can be taken off immediately after your commute, held up to your nose, and enjoyed! They appear to be magic socks, as they remain almost completely odour free! Where did all that sweat go? Either my feet don't sweat as much in these socks, or it's been whicked away into the passing wind.
I nearly forgot to mention that they are very warm and comfy in my shoes. You don't get hot (but then again I've been using them on morning and evening commutes when it's probably low teens, high single digits outside), and they appear to mould around your foot for a nice snug fit, despite my close fitting road shoes.
I rinse all my gear in the shower when I get to work, ready for a fresh ride home, and have noticed that despite their stay-dry ability during cycling, they do tend to take quite a while to dry out after they've been washed. I'll hold them under the hand dryer in the last afternoon to get them properly dry, but as long as you're willing to lend them a hand you'll be fine. For this last point, they lose a single ratings star.
Overall, a very satisfying sock. I'll sleep well tonight, knowing that these little guys will again be looking after my tootsies tomorrow."

Warm Socks
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"I am a sufferer of cold feet as soon as the mercury starts to drop. In the autumn these do a great job of keeping them warm. They are also comfortable."

"Excellent socks. I wear these pretty much year round. In the winter under overshoes. Your feet do get hot in summer, but not uncomfortably sweaty like most other socks. They also shrink about 1/2 to 1 size after the first few washes, so bear this is mind when deciding what size to order."

Could be a bit Longer
Pros: High Quality
Cons: Poor Fit
"These are good socks but they could be a bit longer as they only just reach above my ankles.
The sizing is small so you may want to go up a size."

DeFeet Woolie Boolie Socks
Cons: Expensive
"I was disappointed with these socks. I didn't find them any warmer than your average thermal sock that cost less than half the price. The socks were very short and didn't come up much past my ankle; definitely not long enough to tuck your trousers in them for a quick cycle to the shops."

"Extremely comfortable and perfect for British (and Korean) winters. No bad odors due to the material and also good to wear around the house on cold mornings."
