Sizing seems to be on the large side - I usually take a size L in everything, but found the Etape size L too baggy. The M is fine, if a little snug (in a good way!)"

"A great buy - there are some negatives about this top but it depends on your body type (fitting!). I'm fairly average (not thin, not fat) so the top fits me well. It is comfortable to wear and is bright which gives me a little more confidence that I am visible out on the road. Over this winter it has been very cold in the South and I have worn this top constantly - it offers good protection from the cold and is flexible to wear. A really good buy."

"Bought this in preparation for the coming winter. I've treid it on but not yet road tested it as we're still in summer here. But for our mild winters, this top will be perfect for even the coldest mornings with a compression top underneath. It is very easy to spot from a long way off, and that's what I like - drivers having every possible chance to see me from a distance."

"the sizing on these I felt is a little odd. I ordered a large and it was way too long in the arms but slightly too tight on the shoulders. I have a fairly thick neck and couldnt do up the zip to the top. I went for a windslam and it's spot on."

"Good quality bright Altura top which I would say is more green than yellow. Its like a tennis ball colour.
I went for extra large and found it to be a little loose unlike the Sportful and other makes I have bought where they are about 2 sizes to small, the altura size is about what I would say is right on what you expect for UK sizes (I'm 6ft and not fat or thin)."

"This jersey does the job well. It's a good fit, I'm a 40 chest and the large is ideal. It's a bit long on the sleeves but maybe I've got short arms. One small gripe is that the zip does not click fasten to secure the neck and so it usually unzips a little. But it's warm and the rear pockets are spacious and deep. I bought the blue which looks good."

The Yellow is not Yellow

"Ordered Yellow to 'match' the bike, however it turned out to be a hi-viz yellow......however, this turned out to be a bit of a bonus as winter setting in meant it could be an advantage. You will need a base layer for colder days, but overall it fits well and feels warm. 3 pockets on the back are big enough to hold spare tubes, tools and food."

"good fitting top that looks well and so far has been plenty warm enough - pockets are well designed with the two outside ones being smaller than the middle and the tab that covers the top of the zip where it could chafe on the neck is a brilliant idea."
