Pros:

Top top
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"First real outing wearing this top was a 140 miler across to the Suffolk coast. The weather starting out was around 3c and drizzly , by mid way the sun had come out and the temperature risen to a heady 14c. Throw in the Fens where the headwind brought my speed down to 12mph, it had a pretty good testing.
The extra high collar is a fantastic inclusion and why more manufacturers don't follow suit is beyond me.
A breast zip pocket was ideal for easy access to your mobile etc, with no reaching around the back scrabbling amongst a myriad of gel packets. All in all a very well thought out bit of kit that both looks and feels very high quality. I would say, go one up on your usual size, Italian men are obviously somewhat diminuitive by comparrison.

Just excellent!
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Great fit, great quality, large rear pockets and useful zip pocket at front for cash, card, phone & keys.
There are cheaper versions however this is quality well worth the money.
Good for all but the coldest days - not tried is shower resistance as yet."

Italian Chic
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"I took a bit of a punt on this jersey. I hadn't tried it on and had read reviews saying that it comes up small. I popped into a local bike shop that stocked Castelli jerseys to get the sizing right.
I'm 187cm with a 40 inch chest and quite skinny. The XL fits like a glove, it's not so tight that any Xmas pounds will show but snug enough to look pro.
The long sleeves are excellent whether you have long arms or not. You all ways need a bit extra when riding I find and this jersey gives plenty.
The windstopper is fantastic, the only downside being that it is only on the torso. It would be nice to have windstopper in the arms as well but that isn't what this garment is about. If you want soemthing with full windprotection all over then buy a jacket.
This is designed to be worn on it's own or with a base layer in spring and Autmun, It does it's job brilliantly. It doesn't let you overheat but keeps the chill out as the temperatures begin to drop.
Once the temperature begins to drop past about 12C you start to think about getting something to go over the top as this starts to get a little out of it's depth but you can probably wear this down to about 10C with a base layer. I do feel the cold so other reviewers may think you can wear this in cooler temps but I hate being cold on the bike.
Overall I can't fault it. It looks great, feels great and does what it sets out to.
It is a lot of money there's no denying it, but I have bought other garments that are cheaper and ended up buying something else to replace them. As the saying goes - "you buy cheap you buy twice". If you can afford it go for it, you won't regret it!"

Excellent autumn jersey
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"I have had my Transparente jersey for a month and have worn it on numerous rides of 2hrs+ duration in various weathers. I rate it as excellent. It looks smart and is well made of top quality fabrics. The temperature range is advertised as 10 to 18C. For me I would say 8 to 14. It depends on how fast you ride, the wind strength, humidity, sunshine. Below 8 degrees I wear a jacket instead of this jersey.
I am 6 feet tall, 40 inch chest, 33 inch waist and, my Large size fits me perfectly. It fits close enough to follow my movements without restriction but with enough room to wear a merino l/s vest underneath, which I need to wear at 8 to 10 degrees. The sleeves are a good length so no gaps at the wrist when riding. The jersey has more Windstopper panels than I thought from looking at the photos. If you look at the white fronted jersey, all the white panels are Windstopper but there are also black panels which cover the shoulder blades and run behind the upper arm and down the front of the arm to the wrist. The non-Windstopper panels are a light but warm Roubaix fabric.
The trasparente jersey is simply superb.

"Great jacket. One pocket in front, 3 in the back. Could have been nice with two more zip pockets in the front. Nice with the extra flip up protection in the back for my neck - keeps it more warm."

Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Slight dilemma when I brought this: get the size Castielli recommend based on my measurements, which felt skin tight snug, or one bigger which looked more comfortable to wear not cycling. Thankfully went with the smaller which is figure hugging but no flapping (I've got 37" chest, got medium). Perfect when cycling, arms feel cool but comfortable, nice warm neck, seems to be shower proof so far but it isn't meant to be. Its cut to fit in the cycling position, so feels oddly short in fromt when not cycling. Feels very well made. White doesn't stay white long on a group ride."

Looks awesome, feels great
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality
"Great Castelli quality and looks. Racing fit (even though I bought the XXL after sizing up from usual. Could have gone with the XL for true aero fit for my 81kg, 181cm frame). I like the high neck & chest pocket which helps with body ventilation. I use this jersey more like a jacket: as my outer layer in winter, with a base layer underneath. Arms aren't windproof like the body (so need long sleeve base layer or arm warmers under on colder days), which is unfortunate, but not enough to lose a star."
