"Castelli make quality kit, this jersey is no different just make sure you order two sizes larger than you normally have. I am normally XL, but have to have XXXL for castelli. Its pricey but worth it."

useful autumn/spring light jacket

"This jacket has a light brushed inner surface and a densely woven outer. It is not windproof, but by mixing base layers, it has a useful temperature range from 8-15 degrees C. You would need to wear a gilet over the top on colder days. The neck zips up nice and high for those colder mornings. The jacket has 3 back pockets. Reflectivity is lacking, but the red and white colours I got are bright enough to stand out in traffic. I am 177cm tall and 72kg. The jacket is size L and this gives me some room underneath to wear a base layer, but it still tight enough so that it doesn't flap around going down-hill. It is very well made and looks classy."

"Being very tall (6ft 9ins) I found the length and particularly the sleeve length of the xxxl size pretty near perfect. I wear the jersey over a base layer and underneath a lightweight windproof jacket. I find this keeps me warm but I don't overheat when riding uphill of which there is quite a lot near where I live. I don't go out when it is very cold so cannot comment on this tops performance at temperatures around freezing. I've washed it a couple of times and haven't had any problems so all in all I am very pleased with this jersey."

Very comfortable with good fit.
As usual with Castilli stuff you probably need a size up on uk fit - I am 6 ft 2 and fit an XL.

"Usual Castelli high quality (including the full length zip). As usual with Italian kit I bought one size up. XL gives a comfy, but not tight fit for my 70kg 6' . Suitable for temps between 5-10 deg without a base layer. I found it a bit warm when riding fairly hard at 12+ deg.
Very pleased with this jersey. My only niggle is that I would have liked one zipped pocket - it has three generous rear pockets though."

The jersey I go for most days!

"On first inspection this garment didn't seem particularly up to the job in hand. I purchased it at the end of the cycling season to see me through autumn and into the British Northern Winter.
After wearing it for the first time I knew the Contatto Jersey would be THE jersey I would rely on time and time again.
Perfect worn over your regular cycling jersey from 12-19 degrees and its wearability extended by the addition of a base layer or a windproof jacket right into the depth of the British Winter season, with bulky layers and restricted movement being the last thing to worry about.
