"I was about to throw away some Endura tops that reeked of sweat but were only months old and perfect otherwise. When washed they seemed fine but within 10 minutes of being on the bike the moisture seemed to re- activate the smell which was overpowering even to myself and i could even smell when riding. No way would I have worn them riding with others. Came across this. read the reviews and they are all correct. 1 wash and problem solved. Saved me £150 on the 3 tops i was going to bin. Although "just" a washing liquid I cannot rate this highly enough."

A terrific product that really works
"I tried in vain to get the sweaty smells out of my husband's work and fishing gear - nothing worked til I found Halo Sports Wash. It's not cheap but it's certainly the only product on the market to really make things fresh again."

"Bought mainly as an alternative to Nikwax or soapflakes as it is suitable for washing goretex and similar fabrics. Has a fresh scent which lasts and as the namje suggests it's antibacterial (though that's just an added bonus), being cheaper ml for ml than Nikwax and smells better than soapflakes. Although the price has increased since I bought it last, possibly due to the fact it doesn't seem to be as readily available as it once was, can't find it in the shops anymore."

Fantastic product, smell gone, life easier

"The detergent does exactly what it says and remove all smells from any type of garment, whether it is sports clothing that couldn't lose its sweaty & old smell with other products (including Vanish extra hygiene etc.) or an old forgotten towel in a sports bag. It worked in one go and I now add it to basically all my washes to make sure that nothing ever builds up a smell. Really made life easier and less embarrassing.... who wants to meet up with somebody for a run that starts smelling bad after a couple of minutes because the old bacteria in the sports material 'wakes up'. This is a very candid review, but I'm sure every person that works out regularly will know what I am talking about as this has nothing to do with actual hygiene but is a symptom of the more high tech materials sports clothing is made of nowadays."

"Great product - it leaves clothes smelling a little bit chemically but that is a million times better than lingering sweat. My running tops last longer now so worth every penny. Works fine at 30oC."

Great product
"After reading through reviews on this product from other runners and cyclists who had found it solved the problem of lingering sweat odour I decided to try it, and I've been really pleased with the results. My kit comes out clean, smells fresh and still smells fresh 10 minutes into a run when previously that all pervading smell of sweat made its presence felt. I even used it on my swimming kit bag after the cat had vomited in it (all over the towel and costume as I hadn't closed it) and the results were miraculous - I will definitely re-order and would recommend to anyone."

I've got all my gear back

"I've got loads of tops that I've stopped using because they stink of sweat even after they have been washed. I'd tried loads of different detergents and putting them on intense washes but nothing worked. This stuff is great! Nothing smells any more. It's fine to use at 30 degrees and you only need a capful. It also copes really well with my mud covered clothes that have washing lately. The washing machine doesn't smell any more either! I can well recommend this and I will definitely be buying more. The only thing I have found is all my clothes seem to be statically charged but that's a small price to pay. It just makes them a bit clingy and it wears off after a while."

Great product
"I now use this for all my cycling kit (and some general laundry too) and it seems to work really well on a cool gentle wash. It smells quite soapy, but not in a bad way, and at least that's the only smell it leaves behind! I hadn't seen it before, but have recently seen it in major supermarkets too, so it's great to have it delivered, but also worth shopping around for the best price."

Halo does the job.
Pros: cleans at low temperatures
"I have been struggling to get my technical gear properly clean that is no longer a problem since I have been using Halo.
Although you only get 1 litre I only us it on my sports gear and it lasts a while."
