Look a bit tacky in the flesh

"Bought a pair knowing they were plastic which is good because they're lightweight but the faux anodized look looks a bit tacky up close.
Aside from looks, they stay put, do the job and are cheap $$wise..."

Good basic end plugs

"Bought these to plug the ends of my Ritchey Pro MTB bar ends. This product is to the best of my knowledge, a road bike product but with a little gentle persuasion they fit well. Look good and withstood a few bumps and scrapes. Good enough for the price paid"

Do the job
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Lightweight

"As others have pointed out, these are basic plastic bar end plugs with a metal cap over the top. If you were feeling creative you could probably make something similar with an old can of Coke.
That said, they certainly look the part, complimenting the blue hues of my bike rather nicely. I padded mine out with a couple of layers of insulation tape to ensure a snug fit."

"I've now just got my fourth pair of silver plugs. They are the ultimate plugs, but any reasonable crash and they seem to eject from the bars and can never be found.
Until I used contact cement! Problem solved."

Road bars only

"Great colours but they're really only a thin alloy cap over a standard plastic insert.
Would be more durable than standard plastic inserts due to the alloy cap but not as good as those that have screw up expansion inners such as the ones by Hope - these remain fixed in place and have thick ends.
Fine for your road bars that don't contact a surface but wouldn't use them on your mtb."
