Great Handlebar Light
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged, Good Fit, integral battery
Cons: Bulky
"I have been using an Exposure Six Pack for two winters; my recent purchase was for a friend who was impressed with my first light. I complement this light with a Joystick on my helmet.
The Six Pack provides an exceptionally good beam spread ahead of the bike. The light is not as sharply focused as it is with some lights such as the Lupine but it does give wide, smooth coverage out to about 70 metres along the track. The coverage is adequate for any riding that I have done. Generally, I ride on the medium intensity setting and save the brightest setting for single track. The lowest setting is more than adequate for road use.
I tested the duration of the light on the various settings and it exceeds the Exposure claims.
One of my favourite features on all Exposure Lights is that the battery is integral and thus there are no trailing wires. I have had a couple of other lights where the wires connecting the battery to the light developed a break and the light went out always (of course) on a fast, rocky downhill (not nice, another reason for the Joystick).
About the only drawback to the Six Pack is its bulk but if you want to drive six large LEDs for a reasonable amount of time, you need a serious battery.

Fantastic Light
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Versatile
"I've had this light for about a month now and it is brilliant (no pun imtended)! The brightness of this turns night into day even in pitch dark. Several people I know also run an additional head light with their main front light, but I have found no need for an ancillary light with this. So, yes it is expensive, but you'll save about £150 not having to buy a decent head lamp. So consider that when purchasing.
It is also very pleasing and robust design. It looks the business and comes in a nice case.
Well worth the money.

Turns night into day
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Ok where to start, yes it is expensive and yes your wife/girlfriend will threaten to leave you if you spank 400 notes on a glorified torch. But the upside is you can night cycle even more.
On to the review:
The light is well engineered with a very nice quick release system all machined out of high grade alloy. To turn the light on double press the button on the rear and full power beam will come on, press again for medium and once more for low. Press and hold for a second or so it will go into flash mode. Press and hold it will turn off.
A friend recommended the Exposure light range after he purchased the Maxx D Mk4, obviously I had to out do him and buy the six pack with 1925 lumens out put compared to his pittiful 1285. The medium setting on the Six pack is the equivalent to the Maxx D on full.
I've used it half a dozen times now for up to 2 1/2 hours on full beam with no dimming in light, obviously if you need to cycle longer you will have to consider going to medium/low setting which should give 10 hrs light.
The light gives you confidence to go as fast at night as you would during the day. I would highly recommend this light to anyone who needs to keep cycling through the winter.
