RockShox Reverb MMX Adjustable Seat Post

When you're ripping through rolling terrain, cranking the pedals one minute and getting off the back of the bike the next, no seat height is 'just right'.

Fantastic when set up
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable
Cons: Expensive, tricky set-up
"Great purchase and I'm really pleased. Fitting was simple but it may be worth knowing that you'll need to charge the post with air and bleed the lines to get it working. The latter is more tricky, and for me after a failed attempt, this was a job for my local mechanic."

Don't ignore the warning
Pros: High Quality, Adjustable, Versatile
Cons: Expensive, fragile controller
"Brilliant post, don't know I managed without it. One major thing to point out, do not turn your bike upside down so it rests on the reverb handlebar button, it WILL break and cost you the best part of £50? My replacement is now on the LH bar upside down.
You have been warned.

Brilliant - once you've adjusted your expectations
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: limited drop
"I love this post, even with its price tag. It does everything you'd expect and a bit more once you get used to it.
It obviously saves time getting on & off, but where it really comes into it's own is 1. when you put the post up again you know it will always go back to exactly where you want it - and 2. the short 100 yard technical stretches that you wouldn't ordinarily have dismounted/dropped/ remounted/ridden/ dismounted/raised/ remounted/dismounted/ adjusted/remounted (you get where I'm coming from).
The ONLY downside is that it is limited in how far it drops. Previously I would drop my saddle to the ground when I was doing nasty DH sections. The limitations of the engineering mean that you have to adjust slightly, but it doesn't take long."

brilliant
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive, heavy
"This is one of the best purchases ive made!
only tested it few times so i cant comment on long term effects or servicing but changed my riding quite abit. makes it so easy simply because you dont need to get off your bike and adjust your seat level.
movement is plush and you can changed the response speed for up and down.
it comes complete with ties and clips.
it was between this and the Joplin 4 and so far i think ive defo made the best choice.
