All that's missing is a pump?!
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"Great little product if you get fed up with those fold out things. Persoanlly I like to have a seperate tool for each job, and this little tool kit is perfect.
The chain tool isn't fidly and works great. Haven't tried the puncture kit yet.
I comes with a neat little frame for conveniently strapping to your bike.
This product is great if you tour or mountain bike, et c."

"A neat little kit, but actually not that great. The tools are too small to get any leverage for stubborn fixings, with the possible exception of the allen keys. Spanners are not helpful for some fittings either. Tyre levers are fine, although a little flexible and could snap if you have apply too much pressure."

Good, but may not be best choice
Pros: Versatile, compact
Cons: Expensive, Not Enough Features
"The main benefit of this mini toolbox design is that you can handle the individual tools more easily, especially if you need to reach an inaccessible fixing.
In practice though I have found some disadvantages too, the main one is that you don't have much to hold onto if extra leverage or force is required. There is no handle in the set; you have to use the other arm of the "L" shape of each tool. This is more difficult when it is the short arm.
Another thing is that the tools are quite tightly clipped into the box and almost impossible to get out with just fingers: they need to be levered out. I also found that that none of the allen keys was big enough for the seat clamp on a Raleigh Metro GLX. Again, if you have a bike with nutted hubs, like the Raleigh, you will need to carry an extra spanner for these too.
Finally, separate tools are easier to lose."

Pros: Rugged
Cons: Unadjustable, Poor Fit
"quatilty, but minature - haven't used the tire levers yet, but the look very small. Quite heavy. Worce point: the fixing bracket doesn't fit my bike, must be made for very thing frames - which is really anoying and means I have to buy a samll bag to put it in."

Excellent idea and purchase
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Rugged, High Quality, Versatile
Cons: Bulky
"I bought this kit having been riding for many many years because a mate of mine used it and I was impressed with it's usefulness and level of equipment. I always carry tyre levers, puncture repairs, multi tools etc as separate items but this does it all in one hit, but in a neat and orderly fashion (very important to a man with everything in the right place).
Anyway, excellent kit, still think the rubber solution should really be instant patches but hey.

Designed to go on the frame, but rusts
Pros: Attractive, Good Fit
Cons: Low Quality, Wears Out Easily
"On the surface this looks like a very nice piece of kit.
It securely attaches to the bike, opens up nicely, though the tools are a bit small and fiddly they are functional.
However, over the last month or two we've had a couple days of rain, I had occasion to look inside (puncture) to take some bits out, and was disappointed to find that some of the tools were already rusting.
For some thing that is designed to be attached to the bike, I think it is insane that it's not water tight, it's just crazy."

Pros: Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Versatile
"The Topeak Survival Gear Box is a compact, lightweight box of bits to get you out of trouble on the trail, or road. It offers a decent selection of individual tools, and easily mounts to most seat posts (see pics), or frames.
The case is made of a tough plastic, with a secure locking system, so you don't lose your tools out on the trail. The box fits tightly to the mounting bracket, and in over 3 years of riding, off road, I have never known it to open or fall off. It does have a tendancy to spin around the seatpost when the going gets rougher, but it's no big deal to put it back.
Although the tools are miniature I find them easier to use than a multi tool. You can always use different, or bigger, tools when something breaks, but with a bit of ingenuity this box will cover most eventualities. The one addition I would suggest is a quick link to fix a broken chain. There is room for a couple of these in the case."

A must buy for on the road repairs
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: none
"Best value around, attached it to the bike and away you go. knowing that you have everything for a quick repair. One thing add chain pins.
The bracket to attaching to the bike frame a nice touch.

Only one problem
Pros: Good Fit, Great Value, Rugged
Cons: weak tire levers
"The first time I used the tire levers they both snapped. I had to revert to my old ones and Topeak's replacements were too big to fit in the box - pointless. Apart from that the toolkit has been a lifesaver on more than one occasion."

Solid alternative to a standard multi tool
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality
Cons: Bulky, Not Enough Features
"This is a good alternative to the standard folding multi-tool. The crome case looks good and fits nicely to the saddle stem, and the chain tool is much easier to use than those you find in a general fold out multi-tool. Also, you don't get the problem of it falling to bits.
However, the tools can be a little fiddly to get out and you don't get the option of a larger allen key which fits crank arms and pedals.
All in all, its very good but next time I will probably opt for a better quality folding multi-tool."
