MInoura Space Grip 120mm
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Good Fit, Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: Expensive, adjustment can be tricky
"Fitting is fairly straight forward although there is an element of trial and error to get the positioning just where you want it. It is a bind to have to undo virtually everything if you want to adjust positioning if it won't slide. A tip to stop it working loose once fitted due to vibration is to use a layer or two of old inner tube cut neatly to size, slightly oversized actually to allow for spread when clamping, sandwiched between the bar and the circular clamp. Works a treat. As for having to substantially modify it to get it to fit, that's rubbish. Another valuable tip is to apply LM grease or copper slip to the bolt and screw threads as you can guarantee if you don't, 3 years down the line when you want to move it, they will have seized.
The only down side is that I think it is a bit over priced for what it is. It should be £8.99 tops. But it is exsponseeve because there is nothing else on the market to compete with it, yet."

Good add-on for the bars
Pros: Good Fit
"Bought to carry the camera and lights on the bars on my road bike. Always struggled with available barspace on the roadbikes I've had in the past, this solves the problem. I've also fitted to the rear of the bike on the seatpost."

Not vibration proof!
Pros: Adjustable
Cons: Poor Fit, Unattractive
"OK, you don't put one of these on your bike for good looks. But I needed the space, and some extra height for a light to clear a bar bag on my touring bike. Problem - on particularly rutted roads, it vibrates loose and slips round the bars even when done up to torque, so your light ends up pointing at the deck. Threadlock might solve this problem, to be fair I have not tried as I was able to mount the light under the bar-bag instead (nice one Carradice!). I also found assembly a bit fiddly. Probably would be OK if assembled with care and threadlocked; to be fair, a mate of mine has the same product and has not had this problem. Oh yes, and the extension bar is a bit thin so some lights won't clamp well to it. Overall I'd only recommend this if you have no other way of solving your space/clearance problems."

good value extention to my handlebar
Pros: Adjustable, Good Fit, Lightweight
Cons: tricky to attach to oversized handlebar
"This was the best value for a handlebar extension I could find.
It has 3 settings for different sized handle bars, however, it was quite tricky getting the adjustable metal attachment to screw in. Instructions missed a step I think. But once I finally got the screw in and tightened it up, the rest was easy to attach and adjust. It looks quite good and I can fit at least 3 devices onto the bar."

Does what it says on the tin...
Pros: Great Value, Lightweight
Cons: would be better if more configurable
"Pleased with this so far. After first install it slipped during first bumpy ride but then put some gaffer tape on the handbars and has been fine since."

Decent but expensive
Pros: Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"I wouldn't have paid so much for this if buying it for myself, but luckily a generous relative shelled-out for it as a Christmas present for me.
The concept of fitting is straightforward, but it's definitely easier with an extra pair of hands to hold things in place while fastening on. You do need to tighten the fastening bolt very tight to hold it securely, but with the tension taken by metal strip I was happy to be vigorous with the spanner. I didn't think my handlebars were particularly chunky, but I had to use the widest fitting available.
Now it's on, I've got two lights mounted on the Space Grip; this pretty much fills it, although it's probably possible to squeeze an additional gizmo on somewhere.
One downside I've noticed compared to mounting lights directly onto handlebars is that there is no end-stop. This means that if an expensive light works loose it could slide off the Space Grip and kamikaze onto the road."

Awkward to fix and assemble
Cons: Poor Fit
"I found this quite difficult to fix and the fittings were not that easy to work with. After about half an hour I succeeded. Not bad when it was on the bike, but the fitting has failed again and the bracket is slipping around the handlebar. Not that impressed, but when its on it works fine."

Simple and practical
Pros: Adjustable, Lightweight
"It is just perfect when I have to carry my Ortlieb handlebar bag and the map folder (the bag takes all the length of the handlebar). With the Minoura Space Grip 120mm I save the height of the bag allowing the front light and the computer to be normally used. It is easily adjusted around the handlebars of my two bikes and it stays in place. Simple and useful."

Cons: Poor Quality, not up to job
"Clamp system is not very good, it either cannot go tight enough (product slips on bars) or when you get it tight enough, it all fell to pieces when I hit a moderate pothole (with two cateye lights on-not heavy). Product is still in use but heavily modded by myself, scrapping the std mounting in favour of a large jubilee clip round the bars. Product may be ok with light items (speedo etc), but all the blurb suggests it can take lights-in my experience it cant!"
