"Got this as my other chain keeper is non adjustable and won't fit the 120 mm spacing on my fixed. Does the job and the eccentric design allows the chain to be tensioned to keep it off the chainstay."

"Surprisingly neutral taste. I bought this as I'd tried drinks from other manufacturers and disliked the unnaturally sweet taste (aspartame etc. perhaps?).
I was a little disappointed that there was no version with electrolytes, but I can live with that omission for most of the as I reside up north!
Incidentally, I also got some Torq pink grapefruit drink at the same time. Good taste, even the wife liked it!

"Got this to replace the stem / seatpost mount that I tried previously. This moves my barbag away from the backs of my legs.
The weight limit of 5kg is sensible, but I don't think I'd like to load it with so much, particularly if I had a carbon or carbon wrapped seatpost.
The clamp is quite narrow so puts some pressure on the seatpost. I wrapped the post with some plastic repair tape (thick Sellotape-like stuff) to prevent any marking. There was some moulding flash on the bracket surfaces that contacted the post, so these were removed with fine wet and dry paper.

"Bought these as I was fed up with using knee warmers with my F1.13 bib shorts.
I was impressed with the pad, much more flexible than the F1.13 and larger at the front to maintain my modesty, but more importantly warmer!
I am 180cm tall. I bought the 'large' which was sized for 180 to 185cm tall. I found them quite snug lenghtwise, OK in the cycling position (read the Assos blurb!), but had I been at the taller end of the range they may have been uncomfortable.
My main gripe, however, was in the knee section - or more precisely behind it. The material bunched up slightly and although it was not uncomfortable, it was a distraction. My longest ride with these shorts has been 3 hours and the bunching was starting to annoy me. In fairness, I do not shave my legs, so this may have been part of the problem. The elastics have only minimal grippers, so this may also have contributed.
The washing bag supplied is not the best. It lacks any form of positive closure and half of my shorts had worked their way out (minimum wash, delicate cycle). I have since reverted to my mormal net wash bag, secured with a cable tie.
Once again the enhanced visibility detailing is on the LHS. C'mon Assos (and Gore) let's have some right hand drive versions!

"Bought this for a trip to foreign climes as a baby track pump. It's impressively light.
I had cause to use it for real when the washer in my track pump failed. It pumped up two tyres easily. and topped up four others to 100psi. The handle is a little uncomfortable but this is not a big problem. In all other respects the pump is superb. The ABS function works well.
When stowing the hose, it's best to screw the chuck into the base then slip the hose gently into the groove in the handle.

Cons: handle not the most comfortable

This light is very compact and lightweight (126g) pushing out 450 lumens and is ideal for both off-road and road use. A very stylish, well made and futuristic looking light which stands out from the crowd.

"Bought this as a replacement for my Hope vision front light. The Hope was OK for light output, but the sudden darkness when the cells ran out was disconcerting to say the least. The Lezyne switches to low power mode (not sure how long for) so I'm not completely in the dark.
Light output is astounding for such a compact lamp, but that is probably due to its dedicated lithium ion battery, unlike the four AA cells for the Hope.
Although this light is unquestionably brighter, the pattern is similar for the spot, but the Lezyne is wider in the flood area so this may hack off car drivers (or get you seen depending on your outlook). I often use mine in daylight when the visibility is poor i.e. in rain, and I had two works vans flash their lights at me the other day. At least they saw me! Flash mode is excellent.
Mount is a bit Heath Robinson, and can allow the light to sag, but some tap under the mount would cure that.
The instructions say that the lamp should not be used as a flashlight, although it might make a very good one. However, beware, those cooling fins aren't decorative.

"Off to sunnier climes soon and wanted spare bolts just in case.
Can't fault for weight. After reading other posts will take care on tightening although there was no problem with originals at 5NM and that was plenty tight.

"Bought this as an alternative to a Marathon tyre after my front wheel washed out on a salted road and I got dumped on the tarmac.
The puncture resistance may be less than the marathons, but the grip levels seem better. The tyre section is more 'balloon' like and results in a smoother ride.
There is a slightly raised central tread whch rolls OK, but it does make me wonder what the transition from upright to banked over would be like if I really crank the bike over. I don't want to meet the road again. Fortunately it's relly not that sort of bike!

"Got fed up with small bar bag affecting the steering. Bought this clamp so I could mount the barbag on my seat post.
It really needs to be about 30mm longer for this application as my thighs just touch the bag (this will obviously depend on saddle position). However, I didn't want the longer "seat post extender bracket"
"
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: Unadjustable, too short for my application

"Bought this as a replacement for my previous strap after I made the mistake of putting it in the washing machine. Yes, you can machine wash it, but not spin dry! This spin appeared to make the HR signal erratic. I will return to hand washing in future.
The loop for the clasp has been improved in the "plus" version - the old one delaminated rapidly.
HR signal still fragile with new strap even with new battery in unit and watch.

What is the maximum load (kg) this will take? Thanks

5kg - if you dare.
I would reduce this if you have a carbon seatpost and DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!

do any of the GPS bike computers show real time slopes for hills?

Top 1000 Contributor
Top 1000 Contributor
I have an Edge 800.
This has a gradient function. If you allow for the fact that it has to work out the slope (from barometric pressure change?) then display, then this is real time - albeit with a delay of a couple of seconds or so. I have been impressed by the accuracy of this function, which has correlated well with the roadside gradient signs.

What's the difference between the HP and HV versions of this pump?

HP is 'high pressure' for road bikes.
HV is 'high volume' for mountain bikes.
