"It's a chain link that does its job. Get a Park MLP1 to remove the thing though as can be quite awkward to get off if it has been on the bike a while."

"No complaints for a small pump. Hides away in you pocket or Bak, well madecand does what it says on the can. Oh yes, and its light. For all intents and purposes you are unaware you are carrying it. About 300 pumps to inflate a 2.25 tyre to a good pressure."

"I bought this hub to take the freehub off and install into a built wheel (and get a free skewer thrown in!). These new Shimano hubs are now 12mm axle compatible although this one came configured for skewer. This means it requires 14mm hex key to remove the free hub (no big deal) but does mean the free hub will not be compatible with old skool skewer hubs. If you are not bothered then a fabulous hub for the money."

"Negatives: Not 100% intuitive. If you are pushing sets then pressing the pause button firmly enough can be a bit hit or miss as you are breathing too hard to concentrate. Just minor issues.
Postives: Like the way it counts your pause time between sets. Brainless counting of lengths and total time. Once you get the hang of it, it is easy to use. for easy recording of what you have done and and over time your improvements. Recommended.

"Quite low cut. Very much sit low on your hips. Appear to be a fine jammer. Do not notice any drag at all from them. 6 months use from the previous version. Used 4-5 times per week. They went thin at some of the seams."

"This top is almost a sub-base layer. Very, very light. I have worn it below a Helly & merino base layers. Keeps you warm but signficantly for me, dry as well. Even with just merino I am still damp & cool after a ride. This base layer appears to be fixing both issues for me."

Will this work with Presta valves?

With non-removable or only on those with removable cores ?
Used this stuff on a BMX bike with Schraders. Pretty sure I had to remove the core before filling and seem to remember it came with some tool to do just that though I bought it blind and the instructions that came with it got me through. Not a lot of help here then! Soz.

The Slime Lite Tube combines a lightweight butyl tube with a revolutionary breakthrough in sealant technology that prevents punctures up to 1/8" (3mm) without significant added weight.

700x19/23c

Hi, i use 700x19/23c tubes - is this product compatible.
cheers,
Best answer
Never tried as I use them on my cross bike but very much doubt you would be able to seat it in a tyre that suits a 19/23c tube and then get the tyre back on the rim. Actually if you did manage to seat the strip and fit the tyre stand back and give yourself a big round of applause as it intensly annoying to fit to a 35c tyre let alone a 19c.

Is this tube suitable for a 26x2.25 Nobby Nic tyre?

Best answer
Yep, I run this tube with a Noby Nic 2.25 for a good few years now (not the same tube as sealing power seems to wear off or the tyre wears down - not sure which).

This anti-puncture shield is placed between your tyre and inner tube. It is produced from Kevlar fibres that are spun together to produce a bullet-proof vest type shield for your tyres. Flataway is light and supple.

will this fit a 700 x 28 tyre?

would it be compatible with this continental tyre?
Yes it will fit but will be quite awkward to fit. In fact unless you are a person of patience I would get someone else to do it for you or dont buy it at all as this is not a miracle solution to punctures. You will stil get them.

How do you deflate the tyre and remove it from the wheel once you are back home?

Same as you always would. It does not seal the valve.

How many are there or how long

Is there enough for one or two tyres per package?
One tyre protected per package. When you fit it although it may appear that it needs cutting down it doesnt. Once the tyre is inflated this seems to seat the strip in the tyre correctly and most if not all of the exess lenght is used up. The strip is not a miracle worker, still expect punctures.
