Really nice, good looking and well made. I'd always be happy to pay less, but you do get what you pay for in Assos kit. My last pair are over two years old and look like new."

"Good tape, sticks firmly to rims and easy to apply.
The protective (outer) tape is strong, this allows you to fit the tub and then peel away the strip with the tyre in place."
Pros: High Quality, Good Fit, easy to apply // fit

"Good fit for little hands and bright colours.
The material is very thin so not much warmth / wind resistance on cold and windy days, but for the price s good set of gloves more suited from Spring / Autumn days."
Pros: Great Value, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: not for really cold days!

"These are a nice set of roller which are well made and good value for money (IMHO). On a whole really pleased with them. Easy to assemble set up with an easy to use resistance feature.
I have noticed on one or two occasions that the rollers were making a bit of noise, like a bit of metal was rubbing, this was a bit annoying when I wanted to crack on a get a training session in. After spending 20 mins or so checking each bit, I could not identify where the sound was coming from. Since then I've not noticed the noise again so it may just have been one of those things."

"One word to describe these.....Awesome!
These not only look the business, but also do the job they were designed for. I have recently change my running style using a pair of Newtons and was not sure how these would feel, but I had nothing to worry about. Light, responsive, perfect fit, good movement and flex where you need it, with grips that an Mt Everest climber would be happy with.
1st run was 10k trail run after a bit of rain = lots of mud, but this posed no problem and I felt confident, 'Bambi on ice' was no more!"
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit, serious trail shoe, plenty of support

"The only Garmin you cannot drown!! Having previously used other leading HRM brands that are waterproof, but difficult / unreliable upload functions, battery changes / servicing led me towards changing HRM brand. I originally bought the 405CX and instantly loved the Garmin usability; however I jumped into the pool wearing the 404CX (having not read the instructions - in true bloke fashion), to discover that it did not like water...... enter stage right the 910XT.
Great computer, loads and loads of data is provided, which is also easy to read on the go. I prefer having buttons to a touch screen and these are also easy to use even with bike gloves on.
The 910XT is smaller and thinner that the slightly over-weight 310XT (although friends still rave about the 310). I really like the vibrate function as rather than constantly looking at your watch, you can define zones, speed, distance etc with any deviation sets the watch off.
The Garmin connect website is one of the better sites I've used for uploading your data too (in my opinion) as the data is displayed really well and there are lots of edit functions.
All in all the 910XT is not cheap, but if you like Garmin products and do triathlon then your options are limited, however sometimes that's a good thing!!!!"
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit, loaded with data functions, tri specific, garmin connect.com is easy to use, easy to use
Cons: Expensive

Never tried it, however I've used two cable ties to secure it to my saddle / seat post, works a treat :-)

I currently have the Garmin Edge 500 with HRM, can I use the same HRM I have for this watch or do I need to purchase this watch with the HRM?

Forerunner 110 is the easiest way to track your training. It's GPS-enabled so it knows how far and how fast you run - with no bells or whistles. There's virtually no setup required, so you can just press start and run or walk with it.

Watch use in Australia??

Hi I was just wondering the following
*How does this watch use Australian GPS - does it automatically do it???
*Is the GPS accurate - I have used GPS on Map My Run and it is not accurate at all.
* Does it give info in KM's??????

Thanks

Don't see why connecting to GPS would be an issue?

I have found my Garmin devices (HRM's / Bike computers) to be very accurate typically down to about 1 - 3 meters.

Data can be configured in KPH and MPH.

Designed for performance cyclists, Edge 500 is small and lightweight. It tracks speed, distance, GPS position and elevation, so you can get the most from your training and racing. Bundle includes Premium HRM, Speed and Cadence sensors.

Garmin monitors - compatability

Hi

Re Garmin Edge 500 Red with Premium Heart Rate and Cadence

Can the results of these be downloaded to PC? Are they "Windows 7" compatible?

I have a multitude of Polar S710/720 bits n' pieces incl speed and cadence sensors but can no longer use them because they are not Windows 7 compatible (used to have Win NT).

Is this Garmin Win 7 compatible, or do you have something that is? Must use Speed, Cadence and Altitude readouts, as well as h/r..

Kind regards

Graeme
