Aiming to hit the sweet spot between stylish commuting and great cycling features. With the response tour short you have a multifunctional short that is on one hand cycling specific, but on the other a really stylish short for everyday commuting.
"Difficult to be creative & eloquent - but its a nicely finished piece of kit for riders like me (0.0001%) who have a 1" threadless steerer but want to use a modern 1.125" stem. As you would expect quality from Thomson (some would say with a price to match) - but does the job perfectly with no fitment issues. One potential issues for other buyer is its not hugely tall, not 100% sure on the downsides of the shim being less than the stack height of the stem clamp, but maybe concentrated stress risers? strength of clamping force? stem may not tighten enough?
So 10/10 (or 5/5) for the product but check stem compatibility first."
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit

Tomac Small Block 8 DTC Folding MTB Tyre
The Tomac Small Block 8 is an ultra grippy, fast rolling tyre for cross country use.
"Very good tyre as a general all rounder in dry conditions. Good light tyre and great grip, sturdy but flexible carcass. I regularly use it on the road, where it is still very good, despite not being designed for tarmac. Relatively quiet and surprisingly fast.
Good price and Kenda's range seems to all be very good."
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile
Turn your bike into more than a fair-weather friend with the help of a Mag trainer. The perfect solution to getting in a ride when it's too cold, wet or dark to go outside, the Mag sets up quickly and easily for on-the-spot spins.
"Bought this for my girlfriend as I was finding it very hard to get her out on the bikes. As 30-somethings life and work often get in thye way of any kind of exercise routine, and London isn't really the place for a new cyclist to learn road craft - hence the purchase of CycleOps Mag Trainer.
Assembly was very easy, I was impressed by the quality of construction. Very stable and sturdy when in use, even while cranking hard during interval training. The adjustment range is good enough for both my girlfriend and I - opposite ends of the fitness spectrum.
Highly recommended for a budget turbo trainer over the winter months or if you are lazy like my girlfriend :-)"
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged

Sponge Handlebar Grips 2011
Secure clamp design with anodised and etched aluminium clamps. Low profile knurled pattern rubber. Available in white, black, pale blue and grey. 130mm long.
"These are great value for money, when the competition are close to double the price. Best used with gloves as the harder compund can be slippy with bare hands. These are a great diameter for an average hand size. If you have big hands they could be a little on the narrow side. Clamps are good and strong and haven't slipped, although there is a slight creak when really manhandling the bike. The grips are comfortable with or without gloves, without feeling like you are holding two large sausages! Overall good grips at a better price than most."
