"Whilst these aren't that practical for life on the ocean wave they are certainly fine for a-pedalo-ing around London. Check the fit though cause ye may have to belay them a little tighter should ye find a gap betwixt your hands and the cloth. They may not be suitable for the bosun but they are fine for a humble corsair such as I. Arrr."
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Lightweight

"Ahoy hoy shipmates, whilst these glasses aren't the most piratey about, they certainly are useful when on a bicycle. I chose the orange ones to match my hull and didn't want to run aground when navigating in the dark. They keep out sun/pollen/wind and keep me from getting keelhauled by silvery roadboats. Aaaaarrrrgh matey."

"Sturdy, not that attractive (particularly in the larger size that my HUGE head requires), quite warm for winter, fits reasonably well. Makes me feel a bit safer, but not that much. For better or for worse, it's a cycle helmet."

"It's a rear rack and it holds stuff. Probably not the sturdiest rack ever built, but it holds my panniers fine and they're quite big. No quibbles here whatsoever."

"I keep this bad boy at work and just about everyone uses it. It takes both types of nozzle with minimum of hassle and the guage comes in really handy. It gets road tyres up to 120 without fuss, if you need 140+ (although god knows why you would) then I'd go elsewhere. If you're sensible though, then this is the pump for you."

"A comprehensive set of tools for working on a bike. I've overhauled my entire bike and not had to reach for anything else (except for the oil and grease). I don't think the quality would hold up against top end tools, but these were less than £3 a tool when I bought them and I was still pleasantly surprised."

"Compares well to the Big Blue Book from Park (which my brother has so didn't need a copy of that) and is a good comprehensive guide to road bike maintenance. My only criticism is that if you have anything hybrid-y/tourer then you'll probably need the mountain bike vsn of this book as well, but that is not necessarily a bad thing because then you'll be able to fix anything:-) Instructions and diagrams are clear and well thought out and it comes highly recommended."

Lense Advice

Hi there,

Would you recommend the orange or clear lenses for night riding?

Many thanks,
Nick
The orange are fine for me shipmate. Not too dark.
