"I have tried these on some road bike rides, and they do seem to help me keep pushing hard for longer. I am always very skeptical about these things, but seems to work. Maybe it's just that they are refreshing taste. I put 1 Berry tablet in a large drink bottle.
"I have tried the chocolate and the peanut butter....both are quite nice. Size is about right, and give a mixture of quick boost and some sustained energy. Don't seem to crumble up even when carried for a few days in saddle bag. You need plenty of water to wash them down."
Pros: High Quality, Rugged, Lightweight, Versatile

"The Apple one taste pretty good, in a gloopy "fast food apple pie filling" way ! Gives a mega energy boost. Best to have some water for after eating it. Pouches easy to open, but no problems with them leaking in saddle bag. Perfect small and light weight "boost"."
"I have not used Chamois cream before, but recent C2C ride prompted me to give it a go. I don't get bad rubbing, but this did make the days more comfortable. Not sticky to put on, and did not seem to mark clothing. Gives a weird and strangely pleasant tingling sensation nether regions when applied, but that soon wears off. Quite expensive, but you don't need much so will last a long time."
