Premium cycling bib shorts from dhb at an astonishing price. Top-level ‘Tour Air’ Elastic Interface cycling pad from CyTech for serious sessions in the saddle. Moisture management ‘Field Sensor’ fabric deals with perspiration fast.

"I'm a lean 6'0", 32" waist, 40" chest and 70kg - think Wiggo, not Hoy! Primarily a runner but do a fair bit of MTB and road cross-training.
I nearly ordered a large, based on some of the previous reviews; very glad I didn't. Yes, the mediums are fairly snug but certainly not ball-crushingly so and they are very comfortable. There's still plenty of stretch in the braces for me - I'd say at least another inch or two of height would be absolutely fine with these. The braces are rather thin, so prone to roll up when first on. However, once I get them straightened out they do seem to stay put, so not a problem. More importantly, the shorts themselves are spot on: neither tightness nor bagginess, some light thigh compression and no slippage so far. It's dangerous generalising from a sample of one, but this does correspond to my previous experience with medium DHB bib shorts and tights, so I assume the pair I have are typical.
Too early to comment on durability, but they seem to be excellent value; quality is fine; looks are fine. Padding seems adequate so far, but haven't done any all day rides yet."
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Good Fit

Size ???

I'm 187 cm tall, have 40' chest and 31' waist. Should I go by the height, chest or waist measurement for these shorts??
Want a comfortable fit for commuting.
I'd say you want medium. I'm 6'0", 40" chest, 32" waist, 70kg, so we're pretty similar size. Medium are spot on for me, with light thigh compression and plenty of stretch left in the braces. I expect large would be ok too, but perhaps a tad loose in the waist.
