"These wheels can't be beat for the price. Light and strong, with the ease and predictability of an alloy brake surface.
I have run a pair for two years in road races and criteriums, and they have been totally reliable. The lightness is comparable to market leading clincher offerings from Mavic, Easton or Reynolds, but the price is lower.
The compositie carbon aluminum construction is for real, a bonding process glues the two together, no non structural shrouds here. The result is a light rim that has a fair bit of road buzz compliance (you may think your tyres are low first time you ride, there is noticeable smoothness compared to a stiff all allloy wheel) however you can confidently carve into corners at high speed on these wheels, and my 6ft4 190lb frame hasnt been an issue for them in sprints or uphill. The wheels came true and stayed true, impeccable reliability. Front wheel proved not to be proof of crashing into a turning car at 30mph but wiggle to the rescue, they will sell individual wheel replacements. Its just a shame Shimano doesn't have some sort of MP3 equivalent road hazard insurance program.

"These LAS helmets somehow fit like a glove with just a simple adjustment of the incredibly easy one hand adjuster.
I also like the one piece liner, with a winter and summer mesh insert supplied. Much better than trying to wash and refit multiple little pads.
Its a lightweight stylish design. It vents well too. Wear in 90degree weather no problem.
I'd say it compares to top of the line Bell and Giro road helmets no problem.

"The wipperman Connex 10xS8 is a sweet spot in their range. It has all the wipperman durability benefits, and the connex link that makes removal such a snap.
The s8 has silver nickel plating which you want for appearance and to inhibit rust, it doesn't have the fancy hollow pins or cut out plates of the more expensive models, which shave off oh 10 grams. Don't see the point of that on something that is a high wear item.
Save your money for something light that will last years and years.

Fast but rougher shifts

"The SRAM powerglide is a good value, and seems well made with metal spacers that match the sprockets rather than the black plastic shimano gives you.
The shifting is faster, but a little rougher than using a shimano cassette with the same SRAM Force deraileur.
It kinda slams into the next gear down or up, probably due to the cutout teeth. Its what you want in a race, but its noticeably rougher. Will it affect durability of the cassette or chain, don't know - hope not.

"These are light wheels for the price, and they seem to have a little more compliance over bumps compared to an all alloy rim like a Kysirium, but offer great lateral stiffness for cornering or accelerating.
Freehub is silky smooth and totally silent.
Overall very happy.
Only downside is these are not all that aero, but a good wheel for crits, road races or fast training.
(Its also cool to have 'carbon wheels' with no downsides of price or durability)"

Can I use this cassette as a direct replacement for a shimano 105 cs5600 10 spd cassette?

Depends. If you are running shimano 10 speed only wheels, then no - but this isn't very likely, only shimano made a few such wheels and even they have given up on the 10 speed only.
If you run wheels that are shimano 9/10 or SRAM compatible, no problem. You can check this by removing the CS5600. If there is a spacer washer you have a wheel that will take the sram cassette.

Hi, can anyone of you techie guys tell me if a PG1070 11-32 works together with a SRAM Red derailleur?

Thanks and br,
Elmar
It will not.
Using the PG1070 with Red is no problem, but a 32 is too big for the red rear derailleur to handle.
If you swap out the red rear derailleur for an Apex long cage that would work with the 11-32, and is compatible with your existing shifters. You probably need a longer chain also.

SRAM v Shimano

I presently have Shimano Ultegra 6600 groupset with a 12-27 rear cassette which I really like. Shimano have stopped making this casssette.

Will the SRAM cassette 12 - 27 be compatible with my present set up? Is this SRAMs 'equivalent' to ultegra range.

(I don't much want to change to the new Shimano 6700 range 11- 28 casette - too wide - and there is some doubt re compatibility anyway I believe)
You can freely interchange SRAM and Shimano cassettes.

Your wheels must be shimano 9/10 compatible, not shimano 10 speed only. I.e right now you are using the small spacer before mounting the 6600 cassette.

Not many wheels were made shimano 10 speed only, and only by shimano themselves, and even they have stopped doing that now.
