Place your dirty bike in this bag before loading into your car/van and save yourself the trouble of cleaning up the mess after the bike has been taken out when you arrive home.

"Strong, big, simple and very reasonably priced.
Heavy gauge plastic means handlers can see bike but also gives it some protection. Paid about the same in France for a waterproof cover from Decathlon to pack my bike on a plane, and it tore so easily the bike still scratched through it and was ripped even before it got on the plane.
The CTC bag on the other hand is totally clear and very strong.
You'll need tape to go with it though.
The heavy duty downside is the weight. Try and get one posted to your final destination if you can, to save carrying it.
Made a handy groundheet for camping too, but bit heavy for just that purpose.

Size

Does anyone know what this bag weighs, and how big it is both folded up and opened out?

Many thanks.

Karl.
Havent used one for a few months, but from memory it's 'reasonably heavy' about 1kg

It's big. You could pretty much wheel a tourer in with the wheels on from what I remember.

The CTC.org forums or main website should have all the details
