"Not for those who want the soft 'gel' feel. The tape provides good grip and feel of the bike. There is no bulkiness where the tape overlaps. It looks good and feels flat and uniform."
Pros: Great Value, Attractive

"I found this product is very functional and a very useful device for monitoring your riding and assisting training. However, after 2 months of at best moderate use I expeienced troubles with the stop/start button. It does not work if pressed in the middle and upper half of the button. A friend with an 800 has a similar problem suggesting that there could be an issue with the switches that Garmin use.
Returning it under warranty can also be a problem if it has to be shipped internationally because it has a Li-ion battery which poses a 'security' risk. To ship it quickly means engaging a cleared contractor at typically large expense or alternatively using sea mail which, from Australia eg., can take 60 - 90 days."
Pros: Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: Expensive, Wears Out Easily

To alleviate poor shifting and uneven train wear, most manufacturers recommend chain replacement at or before 1 percent stretch.

"A tool that every bike rider should have. As with all Park gear it is really well made. It's simple to use and easy to read the degree to which your chain has stretched. It's better to replace your chain than replace worn out more expensive components.
It is not cheap but you pay for what you get!"
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight, accurate
Cons: Expensive
