The Continental Competition tubular is the tyre of pro road racers and triathletes. It is the combination of the dimpled Black Chili profile and one layer of the cut resistant Vectran keeps all of these athletes coming back for more.

"First set of 25m tyres in either tubular or clincher and the ride is noticeably different, for the better. Wear seems to be a little more durable than say Vittoria or some Veloflex models."
Pros: Comfortable

This device clamps into the rear stay (drive side) and keeps the chain in place making it easy and less messy for you when you are transporting your bike to and from the car or if hanging on the wall in the shed/home.

"Still prefer glue over tape as residue stays on the rim and tubular which is a good thing especially if you ride tubs alot and carry a spare (used) then the old glue will give you confidence on your way home. With tape it usually sticks to the rim and the cotton back of the tub is bare."

Headsets are a surprising technical component. Bicycles owe their stability and their sensitive steering dynamics to their unique design. The headset is the critical element to ensuring performance.
