"This is super light, packs really small and is ideal for MTB rides where you may need to sit for a while post wipe-out before help arrives. I've put 5 stars for performance as it looks as though it would be good, but hopefully I won't have to actually find out!"
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight

"I got this for long MTB rides where a walk home is not an option. It's really easy to fit under the bottle cage, is light and easy to use. The elastic fastener to keep it from falling out is a neat touch. Recommended!"

"I bought these to build up into a set of lightweight 29er wheels. They are very light, strong and look great built up with Hope hubs and silver DT Revolution spokes. It's so easy to mount up tyres tubeless too. I put on Maxxis Crossmark and Aspen tyres and both went on no problem with just a track pump. Total wheel weight of 1580 grams means 600 grams of rotating weight lost from my bike for an amazing price! I can't recommend these highly enough, especially at this price."

Value for money dual sided SPD pedal, a favorite XC mountain bike pedal. Super-compact and lightweight design for a multitude of cycling uses. Sealed cartridge bearing spindle keeps out water and mud for a smooth action, and makes for a durable pedal.

custom 29er wheel

hey there i want to build some 29er wheels with stans ZTr crest rims and hope pro 2 hubs - i also want to get the yellow rim tape and the stans valves.

I'd like to know what spokes to buy to build up the rims - i tried looking on the hope site to look at their spoke length calculator but the link wasnt working- i want dt swiss spokes - probably evolution wiht alloy nipples

thanks
Hi, you can get spokes from most bike shops. I built some wheels with these rims , Hope Pro2 hubsn and DT Swiss Revolution spokes. You can get all the rim/hub measurements off the Stans and Hope websites and input into the DT Swiss spoke calculator to get your spoke lengths. For 3X lacing you need 32 at 292mm and 32 at 293mm. Cheers!

Race day is all about maximum output and maximum efficiency-putting everything you've trained for into the race, and leaving it all out on the racecourse.

How much do they weight?

Weight is 310 grams according to the Shimano website.

Amazing low priced SPD pedal for all round use including tough freeride and off-road use

Will these pedals and clips fit my cycle shoes

I received the dhb M1 cycle shoes for xmas. Can you advise if the following Pedal and cleats will be best for my shoes:

Shimano M424 SPD Pedals; and
Shimano SPD MTB Cleats.

In respect of cleats 'I am a novice', should I have Multi Release or Standard Release?

Many Thanks
Pete
Hi, any MTB specific pedal should work with your shoes. I would recommend the M520 pedals if you can stretch your budget, as the release is adjustable. I think standard release is fine, just make sure you practice engaging and disengaging a few times on a nice quiet road before you head for the hills!
