"I got these as economic spin shoes to save the hassle of changing over road/spin cleats each time.
Appearance - they look fine - nice and simple
Warning though, these are a big headache to set up - at least on mine, you had to saw through part of the sole with a stanley knife to be able to push through the opening to attach the cleats. (This might of course have been a one-off problem with this pair alone.)
Second warning is that they are very stiff - the top edge can cut into your ankle a bit. It's ok if you have thick socks that come up a few centimetres over your ankle, but don't wear them with ankle-length socks!
For £40ish they do fine as spin shoes but I wouldn't get them for riding."

Help! It is rubbing all the rubber off my back tyre!

Anyone know what might be going on here?
I've just used this 2 or 3 times and loads of tiny shreds of rubber are rubbing off the back tyre.. there is a noticeable bald-line on my back tyre now..
I am definitely still in the amateur/weakling category of cyclists, so this isn't due to some super-hard power-riding.
Any advice is much appreciated.
