" There is a lot of cheap rubbish about in terms of pumps, but this is a Land Rover - rugged and capable.
It's brilliant for quickly pumping up after a tyre repair and ideal for an easy and effortless top up to 'top peak' pressure when the whole family (and yer mates) are about to set off on a ride.
The attached nozzles will fit both normal types of bike valve and you also get adaptors to fit footballs and airbeds and the like.
Those adaptors have little slots allocated at the base of the pump so you have somewhere to stash them when not in use, otherwise they would quickly go walkies.
I gave it only four stars for quality as the handle has a slight flimsiness about it, but I'm being fussy, and I knocked a star off for value because it does look expensive - but this pump 'does do what it says on the tin'.
"
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, Lightweight, Versatile

I'm thinking of bying a floor pump as I an struggling to get top pressure with a hand pump, just wondering if they all fit all kinds of valves,

I have a road bike with thin valves.
This is a great pump and deals with the standard high pressure valves on my bike - what I would call the 'thin valves' - as well as the Shrader car-style valves you find on mountain machines, but I'm not sure whether you are talking about yet another valve type.
Providing it does fit though, this pump will give you the pressure you need. It's one reason I bought this model.
