The Centaur black front derailleur retains all the technical and performance characteristics of the 2011 version and has been created based on a special treatment for the finish of certain parts that make the components sportier and more aggressive.

"Probably the most basic of the gear components but this one looks good and provides good, reliable shifting and easy to set up"

The new Look Kéo Grip anti-slip cleat. It is safer as well as being compatible with the entire KéO range. The TPU pieces helps to reduce the chances of slipping while walking.

"Good cleats, clip into pedal well. Only issue with them is the rubber non-slip bit is a bit prone to coming out and when it does it makes the cleat sticky in the pedal and awkward to unclip"

"Bought this as a replacement for Campag Centaur BB as I hoped the lugs for fitting and removing might be more robust. So far so good.
It seems to be smooth enough and a good replacement at an excellent price.
Can't comment on longevity but at this price, if it lasts half as long it's good value.

The new Double Fighter II is modeled on the successful concept of its predecessor. The centre, with its light tread rolls smoothly and quietly on tarmac. Off-road, the shoulder's heavy tread provides the necessary grip.

"I bought the tyre to go on an old, rigid MTB for general use. It rolls easily on the road and has plenty of grip for the local gritty canal path. Perfect for what I bought it for."
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Versatile

What would be a suitable inner tube?

I'm new to mountain biking and have had these tyres recommended to me as a good road tyre which will also suit some light off roading.

Could anyone recommend a suitable inner tube for this tyre or does it not matter that much?

Cheers!
It's the tyre I use for exactly the same use as you want and I think it is perfect. I don't think inner tube matters but you won't go wrong with matching the tyre with the correct size continental tube.
