"I am fairly new to mtb and have really taken to it. I decided to commit and clip myself onto the bike! ahh!
Well i went for these pedals as they have a larger base so should i want to pop up the road with out clipping in i could. They are fab and i would never go back to normal pedals.
They have an adjustment on them to help you release quicker when you first start which has saved me a number of times when getting into ahiry moments of nearly falling off and forgetting i was clipped in. I managed to get my feet out every time. But like wise you can tighten them right up for when you get more confident. I also like having a larger area to push down on.
Fab a must buy
:-)"
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Versatile, Good Fit

Will these pedals and clips fit my cycle shoes

I received the dhb M1 cycle shoes for xmas. Can you advise if the following Pedal and cleats will be best for my shoes:

Shimano M424 SPD Pedals; and
Shimano SPD MTB Cleats.

In respect of cleats 'I am a novice', should I have Multi Release or Standard Release?

Many Thanks
Pete
i bought multi release and standard and went with the standard release. I am a novice aswell, i just set the release setting low so i can get out easy. they are fine and means you wont accidentally come out if jumping etc
