"Being a fair weather cycling commuter (70km round trip mind) I have hung up my pedels for the winter. This Winter in a combined effort to save money and stay fit in the limited time available (first child now 16 weeks....) I decided to take the plunge and splash out on a turbo trainer. BEST THING I EVER DID, three weeks in just shy of 500km done all from the comfort of my back room. This trainer is awesome, 10 mins and I was up an pedelling. Very little noise, a doddle to setup, solid and sturdy. need I say more. I always thought these devices were strictly for the Road Bike crew but no my MTB/hybrid fits it like a glove. The only downside of this model would be that you have to hop off to adjust the resistance, but the version with the handle bar adjusting lever is another £30.00... going up and down the gears give you enough variety for 90% of the time, so I wouldn't be that pushed to spen the extra £30.
Great value, great quality, easily setup, very little noise.....it turns your own bike into the greatest exercise bike you will ever own......and its guaranteed rain free!!!!"
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile, Good Fit

 CycleOps Classic Mag Turbo Trainer
CycleOps Classic Mag Turbo Trainer
Best value magnetic trainer on the market.

What's that knob for?

Well I just set mine up, there's a black knob on the side or the resistance unit (NOT the one on the back) - what's it for ?
This is the magnetic adjuster, there is a + and -. As you move is you'll see a magnet slide left to right. Have a look on You tube there are a couple of setup videos
