"My riding partner has the Parktool Chain Cleaning kit that is twice the price of this, and I fail to see hardly any difference - the unit works well, especially if you use a more liquid cleaning solution. Just clip it on and run the chain through - wash off the chain and it looks as good as new.
Remember after you have used a chain cleaner re-lube your chain well, as it removes some of the oil in between the links, where it really matters to chain life.
The brushes are useful, especially in the winter as a moutain biker, to clean out the gunk in between the chainrings and the brush is great for cleaning up the jockey wheels etc.
Overall, a great bit of kit - well worth the investment - makes you're life a lot easier."
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality

"If you are a commuter or train in the winter on a road bike, mudguards are an essential.
The great thing about the crud road racer mk2 is the amount of protection it offers:
- During club rides the worst thing is getting caught in the back-spray from the rear wheel of the rider in front and getting soaked in road grime. The Mk2 has a long rear tail that stops that low down spray hitting the rider behind...considerate!
- The drive chain on any winter bike is victim to no end of abuse from rain, salt spray and dirt, the Mk2 has a chainring protector on the front that stops the worst of the mud from your tyres spraying down onto your chain. Equally at the front there is an option provided in the pack for a long tail piece that stops mud flicking back from the front tyre.
Aside from the protection, which is clearly the most important thing, you have tool free fitting, which although pretty fiddly to set up seems to stay put once it has been mounted, and the flexibility of the plastic hopefully means that if you do take a spill on a farmyard corner the guards should be able to bend with the impact.
In our club of 30riders or so, there is a fair majority of us use the Crud Road Racer, and sing its praises. Best of all, it fits onto bikes with the tiniest amount of clearance between tyre and brake caliper (see pictures); I've got mine on my old steel Peugot training bike and they fit nicely with 23C tyres, not sure about 25Cs, but would be worth a try.
They are well priced and quite frankly, just do the job that a mudguard should, with features that you don't get on the higher end "Race Blade" sets. Their only downside is the time they take to fit - don't do it in a rush just before you head out, but there are some useful hints and tips videos to be found on the Crud Catcher website if you get stuck.
Overall - great product - if you need them....buy them!"
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices, long fitting time

Why Buy Any Other Wheel?

"A lightweight cross country wheel with the Crest Rims - they are fantastic - haven't got mine set up for tubeless yet, but will do when racing starts, they are great, light, stiff and the Hope Hubs should last an age if experience is anything to go by. These are great wheels - Buy some!
Take note of how to fit tyres on a tubeless wheel to avoid hassle - you need to use the groove in the centre of the rim and place the bead in there while you are trying to fit the tyre, otherwise it is a real effort."

"Far better than Shimano Chain Pins, and makes you feel far safer out on the road or trail if you have this and a chain tool - it takes away any worries of broken chains stopping you from getting home - well worth the investment - one for your chain, one for your saddle bag."

Cons: Expensive

Im a size 44 casual shoe and was wondering if i could fit a boot style sock under these as well as wearing a normal sock without having to get a size up

Will these fit a Focus cayo?

They fit practically all modern road bikes, although may have problems if you are using 25c tyres

Will a No Tubes, ZTR Crest or ZTR Alpine rim option be available?

The Crest option is a ZTR rim - I just received mine, it doesn't say so on the website, but they are. I don't think they make any other kind now.
