"I had a set of these for over 5000km, used in wet roads around Sydney & rough roads in Vietnam. Handle well, feel safe & roll well.
No punctures, but have nicks & cuts in them now showing through to the blue protective belt. Still have maybe another thousand km of rubber, but will retire them soon just in case."

"The sizing chart is really out. I am usually a large, measure 23cm around my hand and the sizing chart shows that I should have XXL. I bought Large and they are fine.
Great pair of gloves, just went on a 200km ride with them. The padding was great, absorbed the vibrations. The synthetic inner started to irritate a bit and didn't seem to absorb the sweat, but maybe cause I'm not used to them yet. Also I suppose by then everything was annoying me, so it was probably just the long ride..."

I followed the sizing instructions which indicate I would be an extra large. I have never been an extra large in gloves before (normally medium or large). Are these gloves particularly small. How accurate is this sizing guide for Santini gloves?

yes, this one shows the gradient in % and you can even show your vertical speed (rate of ascent) or 30 second average vertical speed. i guess there is a few seconds delay when the gradient changes.

can i download routes and navigate on rides?

if you have a course in txc format you upload it to the garmin training centre program as a course. then when you want to follow it, you start up the garmin and go into "do course", once you are on the course it will guide you with a map. It tells you when you are off course.
It does not include maps, so you cannot navigate (bring your iphone if you think you will get lost!). The 800 has maps, but a friend says the display is too small to navigate properly.

This light is very compact and lightweight (126g) pushing out 450 lumens and is ideal for both off-road and road use. A very stylish, well made and futuristic looking light which stands out from the crowd.

the description says it is adjustable.
We have flat aerodynamic handle bars with tri bars protruding out the front. the flat handle bars does not permit the light as shown on the site to be fitted.
