"Nice from afar but far from nice. The brake outer comes in one piece that needs to be cut to make a separate front and rear. If you get the measurements wrong youve done your dash. The inners are coated in black which comes off easily and the surface of the cables is so rough that they dont slide in the outers without buckets of lube making shifting vague and inconsistent. Avoid."

"The gel in this tape works really well at cushioning road shock without adding much thickness. The tape can also be removed and rewrapped without destroying it. length is generous enough to wrap 46cm bars up to 2cm from the stem for climbing. I wont be buying anything else in future. Great value at only a small premium over the non gel tape."

"These brake harder, last longer and have better modulation than non genuine brands. Other brands feel spongy and lack feel. Take note - riding in the rain will accellerate wear but its always good to be able to stop when you want too! Pads come with a replacement locking screw coated with fresh threadlock making secure installation a breeze. Buy them for this extra if nothing else."

"This is a great tasting alternative to powders and very economical from Wiggle. Cut down and old container and keep 6 tablets in your pocket on longer rides. 1.5 tablets per bottle gives you enough salts without being too sweet. Dissolves quickly."

Unless you need to rig the rear of a tandem there is no issue. I have a 66cm road bike and the cables are always plenty long enough. Hope this helps.

Brake cable thickness...
I am replacing the brake cables on my Shimano 105 brakes. After replacing the cable and running it through the barrel adjuster etc. I tightened the cable in the brake caliper. When I put a little force on the brakes, the cable keeps slipping trough the little hole where its supposed to grip.
I guess my question is, are these brake cables too thin at 1.6mm? Do I need thicker ones? I would have thought it was pretty straight forward...

Check to see if the binding plate on the calipers is clean and binding (sound like its not seating correctly). Check how tightly you are doing up the bolt. In my experience these cables work with Shimano brakes quite well. If all else fails, flip the binding plate so that the cable is being clamped with a flat part of the plate. If this doesnt work, insert a thin flat washer between the binding plate and the groove in the caliper to get better crush on the cable. Hope this helps.

Can the gear cables be used for STI levers?

Yes these can be used for STI but there are better options. The inner cables are rough which leads to imprecise shifting unless a lot of lube is used. I wanted teh colour options these cables gave and switched in some Dura Ace gear inners and got a far better response. Hope this helps.

Yes - depending on the levers you use. Std road levers will be ok. Be careful cutting the outer as it comes in one extra long length that you cut to make a front and rear.

NO. The lugs on the mtn bike brake cables are different ot road bikes. Buy mtn bike brake cables.

Mountain bike brake cables are not compatible with Road brake levers - the lugs are different shapes. The cables themselves also tend to be slightly thicker gauge. For Shimano road sets I have found Shimano Dura Ace cable sets work the best and last the longest. the inner cables are double rolled and are extra smooth to slip easily in the outers. The Dura Ace gear outers are strong and stiff and promote precise shifting. Dont scrimp on cables - there are differences! Hope this helps.

Can I add Zero to my sports drink (usually Torq)? Will doing this help to reduce cramp?

If you are experiencing cramps on a regular basis I encourage you to consult a healthcare professional or nutritionist that specialises in athletes. Having said that, these tablets work better for me than anything else I have tried in reducing/preventing cramps. Im able to use them at the recommended dose (and higher) without the drink being too sweet (a common reason people dont use full strength). Also make sure you are sufficiently hydrated at ALL times and not just whilst on the bike.
