Continental Grand Prix 4000 Tubular Tyre
Continental Grand Prix 4000 Tubular Tyre
High performance, 5 ply, all conditions road race Tubular equivalent of the popular GP4000 clincher, which works well on all road surfaces.

"Typical continental quality but at a price . GP 4000 are en excellent tyre in either tubular or clincher. Tight fit need to be stretched, look great on the wheels, light, wear well, smooth reassuring feel. Was using Zipp Tangente , but GP 4000 better in all respects and would highly recommend ."
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive

Recommended for use with SRAM's Force and Rival groupsets. The new PowerGlide™ 1070 cassette offers an innovative approach to 10 speed cassette design.

"Purchased for 3 Peaks challenge Australia. (Long Steepish climbs) Normally don't run 28 teeth. Using SRAM force, works well, virtually noiseless. Shifts smoothly despite large cog . Steel spacers between cogs. Quality look and feel. Long Rear derailleur not required , but would say this the limit. Any more teeth( 30,32) and Apex or Force with longer arm may be required."
Pros: Rugged, High Quality
Cons: Expensive

Will this cassette (either 11-28 or 12-27) work with an SRAM Red short cage rear mech and a FSA compact chainset (50-34) ?

Yes, but 28 is the limit in my opinion before you go long Rear Derailleur.

No not very well, I think you would need a long Derailleur.

Yes you can fit 28, and longer chain not required. Dérailleur may need minor adjustment.
