The F4R Alloy/Carbon Clincher wheelset is the most all-round wheelset for the tourist or competitive racer looking for clincher wheels. With 45mm deep carbon rims built on DT Swiss 240s hubs make the the F4R is easy to handle.

Please confirm this is the carbon alloy clincher and not carbon clincher model

What I want to know for sure is that these are carbon alloy clincher wheels that come with alloy welded braking surface.

Which Wheel is compatable with sram 10 speed, there appears to be 2 options?

Any Shimano wheel is also SRAM 10sp compatible. If the wheel is suitable for 11sp it will come with a 10sp spacer to put behind the cassette.

Extras?

Do the wheels come shipped with brake pads, bag, valve extensions or any such extras? I.e. what's included "in the box"?

Hi. Is the weight differences in the F4R range related to different hub wts? ie are the rims and spokes all identical?

Some FR4 are described as shallow and some as mid depth rims. As far as I can see they are all 38mm. Is that correct? Thanks.

The main difference between sets is in the weight of the hub. However as rims are hand built there is always a small difference possible.

Previously the F4R rims were 38mm high, from 2013 onwards these have been upgraded to a 45mm height and new spec.

What accessories go with this

do these come with FFWD padded wheelbag, rim tape, valve extender(s), QR skewer(s), and SwissStop brake pads like the F4R - DT Swiss 240s? do they have the same Crash Replacement Policy?
