"Excellent product, easy to install, The only issue and it is a small issue is that you can't select the Odometer function for display.. The lack and red colour scheme goes very nicely with my Wilier Imperiale. The deluxe heart rate strap is very comfortable and better than anything I have used in the past."

Handlebar Mount
One of the biggest problems I'm having with computers is the handlebar mount as I have carbon fibre bars that are profiled for your grip and nothing seems to fit them. Is the 500 bar mount for round section bars or will it fit profiled bars?
The garmin 500 fits on the stem which works well for me.

Difference between blue and red 500
The difference in price between the red and blue 500 is about $50NZD but the only difference is the premium heart rate monitor? Is this correct?
yes the red and black unit has the better heart rate strap. Worth the additional cost as it is very comfortable
