Charge Plug 3 Special Edition 2013
A rough, tough 3-speed (Wiggle Exclusive) that loves to ride anywhere in the city. Perfectly happy jumping up and down kerbs and fine tuning your latest tricks. It’s really good at getting you to work in style too!

"My first impressions were great. Everything seemed sturdy and I quickly felt this bike can be something I can rely on. Assembly wasn't as straight forward as you would expect, mainly because I only got general assembly guides (not bike specific) with the bike. After assembly, I rode the bike less than 50m before the rear wheel had turned slight askew. Turns out I had torn the threads on the rear axle. I cannot say that I had tightened it in excessive fashion, at least that is what I claim.
Google tells a lot of similar stories about this specific hub. The hub uses 13/32x26T nuts, which are insanely difficult to find if you are located outside of the UK. Now I have ordered a few nuts. You can imagine the costs when ordering international. In addition, I'm not even certain I will be receiving the correct nuts since SA's policy regarding product codes isn't as easy to decipher as you'd imagine.
On paper, this bike is a great piece of machinery, and the hub, despite it's rarity today, seems to be of good quality. I chose not to recommend this bike, but that isn't entirely true either. I just want other people to know what to look after when assembling the bike.
Note also that the bike is heavier than anything I found on the internet. I weighed it at 11,7kg with everything assembled except reflectors, chainguards etc. 10,55kg with my friends fixie rear wheel.
Consider this review a neutral one. It's a great bike (already received compliments of few from my local fixie-scene), great looks, but it has its drawbacks and things to look after. But well worth the money, I suppose.
I am 178cm/84 inseam, the Medium fits just perfectly."
Pros: Attractive, Rugged, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices, outdated rear hub
