Well organised but muddy.

"The ride was well organised and signposted but unfortunately the weather was foul and one of the sections was virtually un-rideable due to the depth of the mud with nearly every rider (maybe all?) having to get off and clear mud at some point. Being a newbie to organised events and the very poor conditions a quick brief with tips for staying upright and clearing the mud (roll the bike backwards a helpful soul told me) would have been good at the start. Additionally the feed station was on the highest windiest coldest part of the hills which meant you got cold quick after stopping and there was nowhere to shelter from the wind/rain. The overall event was good fun and staff were helpful (I've already signed up for another ride) I just think that the weather caught some unaware."

The Contact II tyre (MTB) is designed for urban/town use & superb as a long-lasting commuting tyre for MTB bikes etc. Features include; a reflective sidewall strip, tread design that grips & their SafetySystem Breaker aiding in puncture protection.

"After riding with knobblies for most of the summer I decided to switch to these as my winter riding is usually more road oriented. They drastically reduce rolling resistance and seem to make direction changes and cornering slicker, due to the profile I guess. They're not so slim as to look out of place on an MTB and with the reflective strip on the walls look great too. Not the cheapest but worth the price. Tyres are 26 x 1.75."
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Good Fit, easy to fit

Fitting

Hi
Do these have to be fitted in a specific direction ?

Regards
I believe so, I fitted mine with the "arrow" pattern facing forwards at the top of the wheel. This would seem the most logical way to fit them. All of my motorcycle tyres with similar patterns are fitted the same way.

Does this come with a Presta or Schrader tube?
